The Legacy Conservation Trust

“Conserving for the Future…Today”

The Legacy Conservation Trust (LCT) is a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit whose purpose is to protect, restore, and steward natural lands and waters for the benefit of present and future generations. The LCT leverages the vast expertise of its experienced Founding Directors to engage landowners, communities, and public partners to conserve ecologically significant forests, wetlands, streams, and wildlife habitat through voluntary land protection, conservation easements, habitat restoration, and long-term stewardship. Our mission is to protect the integrity of both working and functional natural landscapes by balancing ecological resilience, water quality, biodiversity conservation, and responsible land use ensuring the integrity of critical habitats and natural spaces in the face of rapidly changing landscapes.

These videos show our directors in action - conserving and managing habitats.
